SENECA JONES STALLION UPDATE - On August 1, Seneca Jones passed away at the age of 21, but he has left an indelible mark on the Texas breeding industry. A true Texas stallion who stood his entire career at Asmussen Horse Center, he sired the earners of more than $5.1 million with nearly all of them being Texas-breds. His bloodlines will live on through his broodmares and his final crop of runners that will hit the racetrack in 2014. Thank you to all the breeders who supported Seneca Jones over the years. He will be missed. He was such a stable presence at Asmussen Horse Center and had been so healthy that it was a sad shock to us.
